These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of DreamThreads at mydreamthreads.xyz (the “Service”). By using DreamThreads or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.
DreamThreads is a dream journal and AI-assisted interpretation tool. You can write a dream, choose an optional reading lens, and receive a reflective symbolic interpretation. Signed-in users can save dream entries to an account-backed journal. Unsigned-in users can save interpreted entries in browser storage.
DreamThreads is for personal reflection and entertainment. It is not medical, mental-health, therapeutic, religious, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Interpretations are not diagnoses, predictions, religious rulings, or statements of fact. Do not rely on DreamThreads for emergency, health, legal, financial, safety, or other important decisions. If you need professional help, contact a qualified professional or emergency service.
You must be at least 16 years old to use DreamThreads. If the law where you live requires a higher age to use the Service or consent to data processing, you must meet that age.
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Use accurate information, keep your email current, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the Service or other users.
Your dream entries and reading preferences remain yours. You give DreamThreads a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, transmit, process, display, and create generated interpretations from your content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service. This includes sending submitted dream text and reading preferences to AI infrastructure used by the Service, and sending optional audio recordings to transcription infrastructure so they can be converted into editable text.
You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not submit content you do not have the right to provide, or information you are not comfortable having processed by DreamThreads and its service providers.
AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, offensive, culturally imperfect, or unsuitable for your situation. DreamThreads may interpret similar dreams differently at different times. You are responsible for deciding how much weight, if any, to give an interpretation.
DreamThreads may offer paid features, usage limits, subscriptions, or one-time purchases. Prices, included usage, renewal terms, taxes, cancellation rules, and refund terms will be shown when you purchase. Unless a purchase flow states otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
We may send required account and service emails. Marketing emails are sent only where you opt in or where the law otherwise permits them, and you can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
DreamThreads relies on third-party providers, including OpenRouter, OpenAI, Supabase, Railway, Resend, and Meta. Their services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, model behaviour, or data handling outside our control.
DreamThreads, including its design, software, branding, and non-user content, is owned by DreamThreads or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not give you ownership of DreamThreads’ software, brand, or service content.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of DreamThreads at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
You may stop using DreamThreads at any time. You may delete entries or your account where the Service provides that option, or contact us for help. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, or misuse the Service.
DreamThreads is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DreamThreads will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits; lost data; loss of goodwill; service interruption; or harm arising from reliance on an interpretation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DreamThreads’ total liability for all claims relating to the Service will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid to DreamThreads in the three months before the claim or 100 Canadian dollars.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold DreamThreads harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Courts located in Ontario will have exclusive jurisdiction except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
