DreamGraph publication gate
DreamThreads does not publish private journals or raw contributed dream text. A future population observation can be considered only from explicitly consented structured contributions, after invalid and withdrawn records are removed, and only when the defined cohort reaches at least 25 dreams.
- Consent is explicit and reversible. Contributions remain linked to an account only so deletion can be enforced.
- Raw text stays out by default. The research corpus stores a structured summary unless a separate raw-text consent exists.
- Small cells stay private. No public aggregate below N=25; more sensitive or segmented observations may require N=100.
- Candidate signals are reviewed. A threshold crossing creates a research candidate, not an automatic claim or publication.

What the observatory measures
Public demand
Which dream questions people search, how relative interest changes, and where a high-demand question lacks a responsible destination.
Event-linked attention
Whether a verified current event is followed by unusual dream-related search behavior. Event timing and search behavior are reported separately from any symbolic interpretation.
Consented dream patterns
Only after privacy and sample thresholds: aggregate entities, emotions, agency, and outcomes across carefully defined cohorts. No individual prediction is inferred from a population pattern.
